Hays wins the German Sustainability Award – congratulations!

Sustainability is not a one-off goal, but a continuous process. We are therefore all the more pleased to be able to accompany our client Hays on this journey – and with great success: Hays was honoured with the prestigious German Sustainability Award 2025 in the HR service provider category! The award recognises Hays’ comprehensive efforts to integrate sustainability holistically into its corporate strategy. Whether through concrete measures for environmental protection, the promotion of equal opportunities or the active further development of sustainable business models – Hays shows how responsibility and innovation can go hand in hand. The DNK report is an essential basis for making corporate sustainability measurable, comprehensible and transparent. The fact that this work has now been recognised with such a prestigious award confirms the importance of clear structures and unambiguous communication. Info box: What is the DNK?

The German Sustainability Code (DNK) is a voluntary standard for reporting on the sustainability performance of companies. It promotes transparency and comparability in sustainable corporate governance through 20 criteria that cover ecological, social and economic aspects. Companies can present their strategies and progress in a Sustainability Code report to create trust among customers and partners. The Code is suitable for companies of all sizes and provides a basis for statutory reporting obligations such as the EU-wide Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
